We recently completed cabinet refacing services at a charming townhome on Dietes Court in Ladera Ranch, CA. The outdated honey oak cabinets were not only cosmetically unappealing but also had hinges and drawers that were not functioning as well as they should. It was time for a transformation!

Process: We start every cabinet refacing project by removing all the old doors and drawers, taking off the moldings, and lightly sanding the cabinets before laminating them with thermofoil material. For this project, we used a supermatte thermofoil, known for its very low sheen and velvety feel. New moldings, doors with soft-close Blum Blumotion hinges, and dovetailed drawers with Blum soft-close undermounted glides were installed. Finally, we installed the new cabinet pulls to complete the look.
Modifications:
- Added a top drawer to the base cabinet right of the fridge
- Converted an empty base cabinet to a Rev-A-Shelf waste roll-out system
