Custom Entertainment Center Cabinets

Have you been wondering which is the better material? With the recent advancements in materials technologies, it might be worth reconsidering your options for your custom cabinets or cabinet refacing project.

This custom set of entertainment center cabinets was built a couple years ago, and has many great examples of mixing and matching wood species and products to achieve a cohesive look. All of the wood tones compliment each other, and draw the eye to the beautiful grain matched curly blue gum eucalyptus door panels. With plenty of storage and subtle accent lighting, this set of custom cabinets has become the centerpiece of the living space.

The casework here is built from select cherry plywood and solid woods. The beautiful doors and drawer fronts were hand made in my shop in Anaheim. They have select cherry frames and curly blue gum eucalyptus panels, and all of the frame and panel components are grain matched. The countertops are spalted alder slabs from a local lumber mill. The wood trim on top and bottom is select cherry, blackwood acacia, and ironbark eucalyptus. Each of the three valances across the top has a chamfered edge ending in a handcarved lambstongue detail.

All of my custom cabinets are built here in house at my shop in Anaheim, CA. There are infinite possibilities when incorporating materials to achieve exactly the look you are going for. Whether you are looking to build a unique centerpiece such as this, or put high quality custom cabinets in your kitchen, I would love to help you!
